I'm not sure exactly when this was recorded (although Tim V thinks it was the Un-Reel tour) but the sound quality is excellent.

The band seems to be the 4 piece (with Polly back in the band?) and the recording catches them at their very best and worst. Dave Mason's between song 'banter' is vitriolic and full of self and other loathing but is most especially hateful when directed towards the huge mass of drunks in the crowd. Notwithstanding this obvious dislike of playing, the music sounds crisp and professional - just like good pop should be - and the songs are as wonderful as they always were.
