Copied from a cassette that Lindsay had in his possession which,
about 20 mins of him practising bass over most of Indoors.
Desperately anarchic, self-referential and funny, these two pieces show
the N-Lets in all their ragged beauty.
Outdoors contains a sort of backyard concert when the band prepared a lot
of tricks and machinations to help them make noise. Sheets of metal hung
from the clotheline to be beaten incessently, Paul's bass feeding back
with hums and groans and screeches, electronics being taken to the limit,
little conversations (hugely played up) describing the actions and
propelling the 360 degree ambience. The crowd enjoyed it.
